How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  3. Future events are being deleted

    I keep getting notifications for events that I put in my calendar for next month. When I clear the notification the event gets deleted from my calendar. This has never happened to me before. What is going on? This will be the third time I've had to put my in work schedule into my calendar.

  4. Cancelled appointments

    Would like to see cancelled appointments (subscribed to third party calendars) with a strike over font. At the moment cancelled appointments and active appointments look the same.

  6. Delete holidays

    Having an option to delete certain holidays would be helpful. In Canada there are sometimes 5 different holidays showing up and I cannot see my own events. Being able to delete certain holidays or having provincial specific holidays would be great.

  8. Automatic location entry

    The default setting which takes text out of the Title of an event when the software thinks it's a location or appointment time is extremely annoying, and often wrong - for example, the word 'at', which seems to trigger this, does not always relate to a place! There seems to be no way to stop this behaviour (please let me know if there is). I would appreciate being able to opt out! Thanks.

    I would like to set a note to repeat for example on every other Monday (I work one week early and the next late)

  10. I would like to be able to make two awesome calendars and have one sync and one that does not. How about an optional sync button to turn off

    Ability to make two separate Awesome calendars that do not sync with each other or my iPhone unless I want them to. So an optional sync button would be nice. That way a calandar could be seperate for say a work out schedule and classes that are routine that would not have to show up with appointments or business events.

  13. Don't enter the time automatically

    When I write '8:45 meet Jane', I want it to appear as is on my calendar as opposed to you just enter the time automatically. I also hate how I go to Saturday and put 'pick up laundry today' and it's a reminder myself for that day, but the calendar automatically put the plan for TODAY. I miss the old Calendar badly

  18. Let users delete "quote of the day". I don't want to waste screen space on the daily quote.

    Let users opt out of the "quote of the day." I don't want to waste screen space with these unnecessary bromides.
