How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Shade current day on week and month view

    Pretty simple... Just make the current day (box/column) a different color so it stands out. Other calendar apps allow you to customize the shading for weekends and current day.

  2. Syncing between phones

    Can you sync your calendar app to a different phone. I would love for my husband to be able to see it on his phone so he will stop asking me my daily schedule!

    Add a setting to allow what hours of the day user wants displayed in week view.

  4. Widget on Home Screen

    Having a large widget icon showing the next 48 hours on my home screen(desktop) would be VERY helpful. Using your app, I still sometimes forget to dos, events, etc because it's not on my desktop but rather I have to actually go into the app to see what's next...thanks!!!

  6. Please make some way to add photos to events

    Allowing us to add photos to events would be very helpful. This feature would allow us to take photos of event flyers or invitations, insuring no mistakes were made entering information.

    Currently we can drag and only 'move' an event... Add functionality to ask if we want to move or copy.

  9. Color coding based on type of event rather than what calendar color represents.

    Examples:
    ▪️ all medical appts show as green
    ▪️ all social events show as blue
    ▪️ all birthdays as red
    ▪️ all holidays as orange
    Etc...
    It makes for a snapshot view of your schedule for the month very helpful and informative

  10. Fix Add Contacts Bug to Events Field

    Prior to the ISO 8.0 Update my iPhone 5s would work fine when I was input an Event and wanted to add a contact I would just search my contact list and select the number I wanted then it wound be add into the Events fields for a contact. Now went a contact is selected it dials the number or opens the link rather than importing the data.

  14. Jumping to future months

    Instead of having to scroll through each months page to find your calendar several months ahead, it would be nice to have a faster way to jump to a future month much like my other calendar program - Calendars 5 by Readdle. They have several months at the bottom of the screen and with one touch, I can jump several months ahead to look at a calendar.

  15. User's Manual

    "Help" consisting of questions and answers is not sufficient. A User's Manual, organized and formatted to walk the new user through each feature (or groups of features that are related), and explain how to use them is urgently needed. The new user, not knowing what the features are, much less how each feature works makes a list of questions and answers useless - if you don't know what question you need to ask, all of the Q & A information is useless.

  17. Attach image in calendar appointment that is viewable in outlook.

    I can attach an image in the calendar it it doesn't show in outlook, and vice versa.

  18. Colour coding priority levels of Reminders

    i would really like to be able to colour code the priority labels for Remainders, for eg high priority, red, medium, yellow (or whatever), & low, green or black.
