How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  3. Run slow after update

    I’m a Hong Kong user. After the recent update, the app runs very slow when I amend the date of a event, can you pls fix this bug pls?

  5. Option to start with current day in all calendar views.

    Seeing upcoming events at a glance more important than seeing past events, especially in month view. Adding option to scroll month view vertically would also be welcome.

  6. Allow deletion of automatically posted events

    At times I have events posted based on emails I have received, such as confirmation of an appointment. If for some reason I have to cancel the appointment I can't delete it from the calendar. I can go into a previously used calendar and delete, which will then delete it from Awesome, but that's a work around which I don't like.

  7. Menu option

    Can you look into adding a daily menu option? Our family plans meals ahead for each evening so we know what plans are ahead of time.

  8. I upgraded and still see ads.

    Sometimes when adding an event for next month, it will post it on current month or wrong day. Otherwise, I really enjoy my calendar.

  10. Holidays

    Please make holidays optional. There are so many, most I have no idea what they are. In settings I switched holidays to off but they still show up. They clutter up the days and show conflicting events. I can find no setting on my device controlling calendar holidays. Please let me turn them off.

  13. Fix edits to repeating events in calendar

    I have weekly event that was posted to each Friday. An upcoming Friday had to be changed so I edited it for that specific day, checked off it was for that day only and when I went back to the calendar the change wasn't reflected and all instances of the weekly event for the past and future had been erased.

  17. Ability to put Notes at top of day

    Notes are displayed at the bottom of day and Filofax view - a great feature would be the option of where to show Notes I.e. top or bottom.
    Even better the ability to put the note before or after the day’s current appointments and tasks
    Or perhaps the ability to sort the items in a day view by type?

  19. Repeat events only in the selected month

    I have night shift in different days every month. I would appreciate to mark them for a specified month without always being obligated to mark the end of repeating. Thanx

  20. In the Filofax view, I don‘t need the information about the remaining time until the meeting starts. It would be great to switch this of.
