How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Easier color entry

    Currently, color choices are presented as colored text. Solid blocks of color are easier to see. Also, it would help to display the color name, so the user can easily repick the same color later. See your competitors.

  3. Add new calendars we can purchase individually

    Please add solar & lunar calendars with sunrise/sunset times moon phases high tides and solar/constellation events like comets, meteor showers, etc to available calendar options. 😎
    Also, a daily astrological alignments calendar (when mercury is retrograde for example) would be really Awesome!

  4. No ad when opened

    Lots of times I’m on the phone with someone and trying to coordinate plans. But we have to wait for the ad to go off! That’s annoying.

  7. Back up ToDos in iCloud! I lost all my ToDo record for 5 years when I had to delete and restore the app.

    When my app malfunctioned and I had to delete and restore, I was told all my data would be saved. That was because Yunasoft assumed I meant reminder when I said to do. Reminders are saved in iCloud while to dos are not. I have lost 5 years of my life’s activities because of a glitch. I hope this can be fixed.

  8. Allow us to delete individual holidays

    I would prefer to be able to select the holidays I want to appear on my calendar. Many have no interest or bearing to me

  9. WidgetCal colour code events same as AwesomeCalendar

    Currently when input event into AwesomeCalendar have option to colour code event. I find this very handy but annoyingly the same colours are not displayed on WidgetCal - can only choose colour for each calendar you want to sync. I only use AwesomeCalendar so everything is the one colour.

    I would like to be able to change the order of my events and reminders so I can put the more important ones at the top.

  16. Day background color = additional info

    We could have an additional information by allowing each day to have its proper background color that would have a meaning (e.g red=working day, green=holiday, yellow=sickness,....). If this was configurable as well, your app would be the best!

  20. Events placed by time within your reminder list

    In the day view, Can you put both events and reminders in order by time instead of having all the events first then the reminders following?
