How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Request for particular new icons

    Hiking symbol (A walking man with a staff in his hand like the ones seen on trailhead signs)

    Cash register (a symbol for the need to buy something)

    Microphone without accompanying music notes (music is not the only thing that sometimes needs to be recorded)

    Document with magnifying glass superimposed (A symbol for the need to read or proofread a document)

  2. Event notes in subscribed calendars (Facebook)

    Events on subscribed calendars (i.e. Facebook) can have long event notes. I don't need to see them in the popup. It makes scrolling through a day's events a VERY tedious task, especially if there is more than one Facebook event.

    Apple iOS Calendar and others are smarter about this. You only see the notes when you click on the event.

    PLEASE fix this. I've sent email to support a long time ago. It is not a trivial matter.

  3. I used to be able to go back say 6 months and see what happened. It was all in my calendar. Now for some reason the calendar deletes these

  6. Entering / editing events

    I am trying awesome on iPad after using weekcal on iPhone for a long time - as weekcal for iPad does not have an agenda view. Please compare weekcal's system for editing entries, it is a lot slicker than awesome - tapping on an entry in agenda view enables direct editing. You can also cut/copy an entry directly.   7. Be able to talk to customer support on a phone

    Sometimes my problem is a very lengthy and I Donot have the time or patience to type it all.

  8. Scribble on the calendar!

    It'll be nice if you can highlight/scribble/write notes on the calendar. And able to add post it on top of the month calendar for goals, imprtant events and etc!

  9. Instead of having a default reminder of X time. Other apps incorporate the travel time to the destination in the "Time to leave, "reminder.

    Have a Notification pop up and say "if you leave now, you will be on time. Traffic is clear." Please feel free to contact me anytime. This will be very beneficial to people who travel a lot for work and need to be at a certain place at a certain time. Lots of people don't account for travel time in their day

    Sharing events would be nice if the person could add it to their calendar, not just have it e-mailed to them!

  16. Delete option

    Need to be able to delete whole month in different Callander, as take much too long to delete each item.

  17. Be able to rename the color choices to what we want

    So many similar color choices. There needs to be a way to rename the colors to whatever you want, so you can go directly to the color you need instead of guessing! Thank you
