How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Organizing task lists: after moving tasks around in a list to change their order, changes don't stay put, even after back up. Need to save.

    After reorganizing tasks to change their priority if completion, their position is not saved, even after back up. They become randomly shuffled each time list is opened. Need the ability to save the order after reorganization. Also would be great if completed tasks were automatically moved to the bottom of the list.

  2. WEB FEATURE

    PLEASE please please offer a way to login online and see your calendar over the web. That is the only thing that would make this app more amazing!

  3. Declutter month view with filters

    Option to filter month view to show only multi day events, all day events, starred events, holidays, and birthdays.

    Option in event edit to "show in month view," and a status (not shown in month view with current filter settings).

    Option to hide tasks, and some calendars ONLY in month view

    The filters/hidden should only effect month view.

    Ex.
    My month view is unusable and confusing. I don't want it to show tasks, my spouses work calendar.

  4. Date on icon

    A bit annoying to have the date as a red badge, instead of being kind of shown on the icon as Apple Calendar does. Can you add a setting to be able to do so?

  12. Please have the search function find past events. Thank you

    The app can find past events only scrolling using the Month view.

    It will really help if the Search function can find ALL events containing a specific word/s.

    My iPhone settings are already set to sync All events, and the iPhone calendar ca do that.

  13. Color coded categories can be done

    You can create color coded categories by using the TEMPLATE feature for events.

    Create an event and type the title for the event.
    Click the paint can.
    Choose any color you want for the event. Want a different color than what shows? Then click the plus at the top right and pick out of hundreds of colors.

    Want to keep this color for future similar events?

    Click on the completed event from the calendar. Click the ... at bottom right. Click add template.

    This event and color will be available the next time you create an event.
