How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Task option in event itself

    Would love the option to add tasks under the actual event itself. If it is a multi-day event, the task would start when event starts and roll over each day not completed.

  2. Initially entering event

    Once screen opens to enter event, all options should be available to edit; time, date, alarm, etc...
    Also, title of event should show more than one level line. If it’s not enough info to open more options, then type more info into notes, there should be more than one line showing as one types into the top field.

  5. Duplicate same plan/event

    Wish that once we enter a plan/event, it has options for duplicate the event in other dates too (including the colour). So no need to retype again on other dates related.

  7. Printout Suggestions

    Monthly Calendar Printout

    • Print start time just before the event name
    • Allow event name to wrap to the next line(s)
    • Better shading for the weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
    • Print thumbnail(s) of the previous and subsequent month at the top of the page

    Monthly Agenda Printout

    • Print “day of the week” just before the event name
    • Allow fonts and colors to be selected by user

  11. Google calendar now changes event notes field to html format which does not render properly in AwesomeCalendar on iphone

  13. Good app...Pic quality is poor for notes; allow own pics as stickers; allow handwriting w/Apple pencil

  16. Please include Travel Time for Calendar events and Reminders. It’s a huge problem for me - full integration with Apple’s Calendar missing

    Please include Travel Time for Calendar events and Reminders.

    In have a lot of Apple Calendar events that include travel times. Their integration and visibility in this app is completely missing.

    If I am to use this app as a replacement for Apple’s, I definitely need Travel Time incorporated, if I am to create events within it. Without it, it’s pointless.

  17. Block off travel time

    To create a blocked off portion of time in between events that require travel. You are not necessarily “free”, since you will be transporting yourself from one place to another.

    Some kind of greyed out space that can be easily created independently from an event (like a hold, drag, and release for touch) will help plan out your day and week better.

  19. I think it sucks that even though I have it set to keep my information forever, after six months all my information disappears and none of y

    Make it so that my information stays permanently in my calendar instead of having it delete after six months
