How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  5. Add a holiday info or expandable link to Today view

    While a holiday's name is somewhat visible in landscape month view, it almost disappears in the portrait view (iPhone). And it can't be found elsewhere. A link or a button leading to the holiday's full name and maybe brief description would be great

  6. I find the scroll wheel difficult to use to enter start/end times. Different u.i. PLEASE.

    Start and end entry alternate to scroll wheel.

  7. Select a single event in month view

    Currently in month view, I can only select a day with all events. Even "calendar" allows selecting a single event on a day in month view

  8. Have a day view so that events running at the same time will display next to each other, rather than below each other

    A day view to enable timetabling within the day. So the times are fixed and events span the relevant times.

    Give more options to show the current date instead of only a red circle. And maybe a way to X out the past dates

  14. use 3rd LBS api to get the address/contact of the location even offline

    when I input the location, I should be able to choose an accurate POI instead just some name I remember. In that case, the app can store the detail information like address and phone number so even offline I can view it.

  15. Marker

    The marker for today in month view (the red circle) needs to go away. You need a better marker for today in month view. It covers up a holiday if there is one for today. You should make several options available for marking the current day. Perhaps a highlight color for the box, or a reverse image for the number. It looks like it was drawn with a crayon and ruins the professional look of the calendar.

    Alarm to ring 15min, 1 day, 2 day before the todo event is due.

  20. Make better use of the space at the top of the month view on a iPhone

    The top if the screen currently uses about a quarter of the screen to show the month and a picture of a tree.
    The weather doesn't work so this could be put touch better use such as showing a longer summary of the days tasks
