How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

    Love the app! Just one suggestion. Please create nesting todo lists. I currently use a separate app for my todo lists because I can’t make a list within a list here on awesome cal.

  3. Colour Events in Filofax View

    When selecting the option to colour an event when it is selected as important, can it colour the background in Filofax view. So if I have 7 events on a day I can have 2 important events background coloured and the rest the standard white background.

  5. Android please!

    I would love this as an Android app as well, I currently use my iPad when I’m at work or home and have gone from paper to your electronic diary, in most parts it is seamless, however when I’m out and about and only have my phone with me, I have to log into my personal diary and outlook to check if I can attend an event etc. and it is so frustrating!

    An Android version, as well as Apple would be so much better for integration. I’m so sad I can’t use it on my phone!

    I can put an event on my calendar from other devices but not my iPad.

  7. Being able to have option to start calendar on any day of week

    Not everyone has a Monday through Friday work schedule are Saturday,Sunday weekend. It would be nice to have a calendar that can start any day of week so you can set beginning of your week at front and your weekend at end.. example-Friday -Thursday.

  8. It was much better when I was able to check previous and next month on the widget

    Please do update with the arrows that go to previous and next month on the widget. It was much easier for me to check schedules at a glance

    Would like to have more holiday icons to choose from and maybe some type of organization to them so you can quickly find what you need. Also, maybe have them bigger so you can see them better.

    Can you made some effects on the background of the event that we create. Instead of just solid color We want gradient and transparent color.

    I would love to see Icons for the following:
    (1) Eye Dr - Eye Chart or Seeing glasses, Eyes
    (2) OBGYN - female dr, woman with a heart on her belly
    3
    (3) Foot Dr - crutches, broken foot
    (4) Physical Therapist - stretching pose
    (5) X-Ray - symbol or words
    (6) Blood Draw / Shot - Needle with blood
    (7) Chiropractor - Someone with back pain or skeleton of only the back
    (8) General Dr - Stethoscope
    (9) Landscaping - Lawn Mower
    (10) Pool service - Swimming pool (inflatable kind would be cute)

  15. Help for dyslexics

    I struggle with getting my weeks confused when I look at a calendar. This is a common problem for dyslexics. What would help me is if the weeks could be shaded progressively darker as the month proceeds.

    Also it would help me if each month could be visible by itself alone, instead of having the previous and next months bleeding into it.

    I can’t express how much these two changes would help me and save me from the all too frequent embarrassment of messing up dates.

  17. Calendar legend when you print

    I would like to see a legend when I print that shows what color is what calendar. I have 7ish calendars connected and can’t always remember what color is what on the print out.

    Other then that I LOVE the print function. It’s a huge plus that I haven’t seen in any other calendar apps.

  18. Large widget

    It would be nice too have the option for a larger widget for use on the ipad. It’s currently 2x2 but if it was 3x3 I think all of more of my events would show and the text would be readable. Perfect format and feel, larger size would be nice. Thanks

    Bitte wenn möglich die Uhrzeit der Termine direkt in die Ansichten mit einbauen. Es wäre super, wenn man zum Beispiel in der Wochen Ansicht direkt auch die Uhrzeit der Termine sehen kann. Wie zum Beispiel in der App von WeekCal. Das wäre eine super Hilfe
