Color favorites
You should be able to pick 4-5 favorite colors that come up first on the list of color options so you don't have to continually scroll through the list of colors and hopefully pick the right one you chose for the type of event previously....

Create a templet for the most common time with the correct color, this can save time if it's always at the same time too!
