WHY WHY WHY it keeps notifying me "renew subscription"???
Insanity annoying
Dear Madam/Sir,
I am so sorry for your inconvenience!
After releasing the app, we noticed that the app is repeatedly sending a strange message, ”Renew Subscription, to users but this glitch will not affect app performance or charge an extra fee at all so you can just ignore the message.
According to our development team, it seems to be related with Calendar Store that offers various calendars such as sport calendar, national holidays and stuff through In-App purchase. However, the calendar store is provided another 3rd party app company not by us so we asked them to review the issue and we are waiting for their follow-up.
Aside from that, we found a way to stop getting the message. There is an option named Background App Refresh at the following path and if you turn it off, it will not get the message anymore.
iPhone/iPad settings>General>Background App Refresh>AwesomeCalendar.
I am sorry again for your inconvenience and promise that we will fix the issue as soon as we can.

I love this app and paid for it a few years ago. I was under the impression, I pay for it once. I hope I don't have to keep paying for it. Because I won't do that. I won't keep it and I'd like to keep it

I am getting it too. Reminds me every hour! In my Notification Center it keeps telling me to "renew subscription now". When I click on it, it just takes me to the app. I checked my calendar subscriptions they're all subscribed with all boxes checked. It's driving me crazy!! I don't want to turn off notifications as then I won't get my calendar notifications but something has to change!!!

Same! Is anyone going to respond to these complaints!!!

Likewise. I paid for the app a few years ago and now it's a subscription service? Talk about a bait & switch. Too bad, the app is good. But not good enough to warrant a subscription.

I keep getting a message saying to renew my subscription. I thought I already paid. When I click on the message it takes me back to the calendar. If I have to pay more, please refund my money and cancel this. I don't want to keep receiving this renew message...what's it for???

This wasn't a subscription service when I bought it.

Same stuff here! If this is a subscription, cancel the transaction and refund my $$
It said nothing about a subscription. Time for a Class action lawsuit?? -

Guess I'm not alone! Although I didn't realize that Awesome Calendar is a subscription, I'm willing to renew ... within reason. But need to know how and how much
