How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

Do not insert spam advertising posing as events into my calendar

I use this app as it is excellent.
Filling up my week with ads for fucking sunglasses does not qualify for excellent.
Either tell me how to turn off this nonsense in settings or I'll find another calendar app

    AGREED!!! I can't stand it either. Wish someone would tell us how to stop it from happening.

    I agree I just started getting these ads. I like this calendar but I would hate to leave and start a new one all over. Has anyone figured out how to get rid of them?

    I HATE this! I'm going to stop using this calendar because of this! Ridiculous!!!!

    My major concern is that they are sharing our email addresses to third parties which is against Data Protection Law
