How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

Make today's current date more visually obvious.

Is it possible to make today's current date more obvious as my calendar has lots of events but the red circle seems to be obscured.

    Sorry I don't like your idea that has been implemented the coloured day highlighted looks like an event bring back the obvious red circle

    Yes I second this idea, "Today" needs to be more obvious , or better yet make an option for the user to choose a way that the current date is highlighted on the calendar ... Maybe 3 options.
