I'm curious as to why this request was declined. That is the very feature I am looking for.

Syncing my iPhone calendar with a Google account, there is no SYNC setting in the settings app as described here.
Has this SYNC setting since been removed in iOS 8.x ?

I thought it was the app as well, but it's in the SETTINGS then go under Mail, Calandar & choose sync all then all of your past entries will be there in the app. SO excited when I realized this!!

Shopping for new calendar app if this can't be fixed ASAP!! I have got to be able to access previous appointments and events!! Makes no sense that it would be designed this way. Is this fix in process?????

You have a show me 5 years ago button, how can you justify deleting events after a month.

I tried it today too. Still not working. I'm going to have to find another calendar, again. I'm glad I hadn't decided to get the paid version yet.

I like to use my calendar to keep records of my schedule and meetings. Otherwise I have to keep a paper copy as well. :(

I did what Kelly suggested which was the same as that suggested by the Awesome Calendar folks. Unfortunately it didn't work. Everything older than two months on my Calendar continues to be deleted. Can anybody else provide me some help?

Oh dear. I just started using this calendar, and if this is the case I probably will not stay with it (unless this is changed). Please do allow us to choose how many years we wish to retain!

Truly AWSOME Kelly THANKYOU. I have been searching the internet on and off for weeks trying to work this out and was starting to look at other calendars - So simple. I think it should be included in setting up instructions. You have made my day :)

To fix this, go into settings on your iPhone. Click on mail, contacts, calendars. Scroll down to calendars. Click on sync. Change it to all events. This is an iOS setting causing this, not awesome cal.

I need to be able to view past events in past months. I would not have purchased this app if I knew that my info was being cleared out. No setting to correct this??? Not OK!

This is essential. For instance, I need to be able to check when I last saw my doctor, or had lunch with a friend, Eric.
