Totally agree! For those that rely on this app as I do,for my job it is no fun at all having to second guess ourselves over the starting time of all of our events .... Really frustrating...fix it or get out of the calendar business ... What good could be a calendar that gives you wrong information ... Go figure!

Yes this time zone issue is sooooo frustrating! It is constantly messing with the times of my events.
99.9999999999999999999% of my events happen in my own local time zone so I don't need the timezone feature at all!

When the timezone feature is turned off though, it STILL messes with my events. Why can't it just stick to whatever time I manually put in there rather than try to base it off current location GPS signal? (GPS heavily drains battery)

As for the time input. The design is unintuitive but the functionality is better than before.

My event time starts in the correct time zone but displays GMT when editing. I like the new entry method but admit it was not intuitive at first glance. I think it is faster than scroll wheels. Maybe a visual change to the table separating the hour and minutes vertically like a clock hour on the left and minutes on the right rather than stacking vertically would help. I also think it would be better with an am/ pm button instead of 2 rows of buttons for hours. If everyone used a 24 hour clock they would not be confused but alas most people do not so I'm sure that would not help.

Agreed. It is annoying having to change it on every event (as well as the annoying alarm bug which adds an alarm when not wanted as well), and the new time input is not user friendly at all :-(

Same issue - love the calendar app but this is getting really frustrating

Every entry automatically saves as GMT no matter what I do. It's annoying to re-edit every event to PST when I don't need to see the time zone at all. Also this "feature" changed the time I entered several times in a row for 1 event. Extremely frustrating! I'm wondering if this has to do with the location under privacy settings. I keep my location off most of the time because it drains my battery. I even turned it on for a bit to see if the time zone fixed itself. Yes it did, but when I turned location off, the events went back to GMT. Fix it fast, or you will lose me too.

I agree mine does the same and I don't like the new layout either. Mine does GMT zone too.

I am having this same issue when editing an event. Please fix issue!
