How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. Declutter month view with filters

    Option to filter month view to show only multi day events, all day events, starred events, holidays, and birthdays.

    Option in event edit to "show in month view," and a status (not shown in month view with current filter settings).

    Option to hide tasks, and some calendars ONLY in month view

    The filters/hidden should only effect month view.

    Ex.
    My month view is unusable and confusing. I don't want it to show tasks, my spouses work calendar.

  5. Icon's Badge

    If I have 5 appointments for the day starting at 9am, by 3pm I would have 1 appointment left. I would like to see the icon's badge show me how many appointments I have left as of the present time, not for the entire day. Why? Some appointments or events have already passed for the day.

  6. Allow us to send calendar invites to others.

    Like we can using Gmail, we need to be able to send out calendar invites to others, specifically our contacts.

  8. Add province/state holiday subcategories

    By adding the province or state category to the national holiday option you can avoid multiple headings taking up your daily overview on the at a glance calendar page

  9. Have the date displayed on the app icon

    Have the date displayed on the actual app icon so that you can see the date without having to click on the app to verify. Just like on the iPhone calendar! It would make it so much easier to verify the date...

  14. Please make the alarm for events repeatable every 5min. Or so if you are in the other room you will hear it again when you walk in

  15. Organizing task lists: after moving tasks around in a list to change their order, changes don't stay put, even after back up. Need to save.

    After reorganizing tasks to change their priority if completion, their position is not saved, even after back up. They become randomly shuffled each time list is opened. Need the ability to save the order after reorganization. Also would be great if completed tasks were automatically moved to the bottom of the list.

  16. If you change the date of the start of an event, change the date if the end by the sane amount. Same for times.

  18. Would be nice if there was a cover (title page-preferably a few options?) to my calendar.

    When I open my calendar, I would like to have the option of a cover-title page where I could insert something personal and make it my own. Also would not mind a second page where I could insert my color coded legend for how I organize my events. And have the ability to create my own colourful labels.
