How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Have different calendar themes to choose from

    Different calendar themes in different colors! Right now, it's always a gray background with a tee that changes with the seasons. How about a few other options? I don't like those colors and am stuck with them...

  3. Have the option of omitting to-do's from calendar view. I only want to see events.

    This will be even better when I can PRINT the calendar the way I see it on my phone screen!

  4. Repeat yearly first Friday after Labor Day

    A difficult one, I suppose. But Santa Fe, NM, celebrates its annual Fiesta on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday following Labor Day each year. Considering that Labor Day follows a first-day-of-week rule, Fiesta needs a first-day-of-week-after-first-day-of-week rule — complicated, eh? For the first Thursday might on its own occur before or after the first Monday.

  5. Slim down interface and make it more attractive

    For example:
    -Option to remove unnecessary buttons in top bar such as the one to add icons and arrows to change month
    -Option to remove week number in monthly view
    -Lighter color options for event background
    -Option to remove percent complete for tasks
    -Improve list view by changing colors and making size of dates smaller

  6. Photo calendar

    It would be helpful to pull photos from an ALBUM rather than from photo stream. We would like to see only one or two specific photos per day...not every single one taken or saved each day.

  7. It'd be nice if you could set the time for and event without going to another "page" -- the whole process could be streamlined.

    Check out an app called WeCal to see how the appointments work. It's easy and very streamlined. Love how you can select times in various increments.

  8. The "Today" button should not be buried under another button.

    I never use stickers. I suspect most adults don't. But everyone needs the today button. But you have it buried under another function. Madness. I've never seen any PIM or calendar do this. Google calendar has it clear and easy to access. Please move the Today function to a prominent and easily accessible location.

  9. The user should be able to edit the format for emailing events.

    There should be an option to not include the end time for events. There should be an option to include the day of the week (or Monday ) along with the date. Etc...

  10. Hide some events from iPhone calendar

    AwesomeCalendar has passcode lock but all events can be seen in iPhone calendar. If I want to hide some events, I have to encrypt them by some ways. This is not convenient.

    Guys I love your app, and I hope you could create a native app for the BlackBerry10 platform as well. I'm sure BB10 users will love this app!

  15. Add event to multiple calendars.

    It would be great to be able to create an event and then post it to multiple calendars and then have the option to determine which calendar it showed in in AwesomeCalendar.

  17. Alert option

    Day before at a specific time...so I can be reminded about everything I have tomorrow t a specific time.
    Friday before at specific time...so I can confirm all Monday appointments Friday afternoon.
