How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. When entering a new "event" please add "template" tab. Too many steps needed to get to Template

    With software upgrade there are too many steps to add a "Template" event. Currently you have to add a letter or number just to get "more options" message to appear, then click template. It should come up with the initial keyboard options.

  2. Wipe out everything since the last update! Too many steps now

    Individual entries require more steps now. A bunch of junk keeps coming in through Facebook events and I have to keep turning off that damned calendar. And the end times for each new entry default to :59. Ugh! About to quit this up since the recent upgrades. :(

  5. Convert events to reminders

    It would be nice to push on an event and have the option to change it to a reminder or change a reminder to an event. It would as be nice to see the reminders as a something scheduled not just an all day item.

    make the current month view scrollable: for example, if I wanted to view the last two weeks of one month and the first two weeks of the next.

  7. Bug: The default when sent to all day event start does not work

    In the settings, I have defaulted for all my events to be all day. This does not work and I constantly have to edit my events and click all day then fix the dates. Please fix. This was not broken prior to the last release.

  13. Editing of holiday calendars

    While I love being able to auto fill my countries holidays, we have an assortment that are province specific. On August 1 I had five entries, only one of which was relevant to me. Thank you

  16. display copied event after copying for immediate editing

    copying an event leaves the original event displayed - to edit the copy it is necessary to go find the copy

    the Calengoo app allows editing of the copy before it is saved, which is far more efficient and less prone to error

  18. Default new events to today

    Currently, when you are at Agenda view, tapping the plus sign to add a new event will default the date to the first day of the week showed.
    Since most events I enter are scheduled either for today or future dates, I think it would make more sense to default the new event to today date, at least as an option.
