How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Add province/state holiday subcategories

    By adding the province or state category to the national holiday option you can avoid multiple headings taking up your daily overview on the at a glance calendar page

  2. Have the date displayed on the app icon

    Have the date displayed on the actual app icon so that you can see the date without having to click on the app to verify. Just like on the iPhone calendar! It would make it so much easier to verify the date...

  3. I would like to give reminders the same color coding as events. At present reminder color is assigned by the calendar default

  4. I need darker and bigger fonts and darker colors. Colors too lite.

    The font size should adjustable up to a certain size. Good for old eyes like mine

  5. Please make the alarm for events repeatable every 5min. Or so if you are in the other room you will hear it again when you walk in

  8. Please allow for access to manually put in all templates you want to use and be able to edit the detailsof those templates in one location

    When "editing" templates as it is now you can only delete them and start over. I want to be able to have them all listed on one page and be able to edit individual details such as color, alert times, and star options as well as being able to hit a + to add a new one to the list without having to back out into my calender and creating a new event to then add to my template list.

  10. Would be nice if there was a cover (title page-preferably a few options?) to my calendar.

    When I open my calendar, I would like to have the option of a cover-title page where I could insert something personal and make it my own. Also would not mind a second page where I could insert my color coded legend for how I organize my events. And have the ability to create my own colourful labels.

  12. Date on icon

    A bit annoying to have the date as a red badge, instead of being kind of shown on the icon as Apple Calendar does. Can you add a setting to be able to do so?

  15. Declutter month view with filters

    Option to filter month view to show only multi day events, all day events, starred events, holidays, and birthdays.

    Option in event edit to "show in month view," and a status (not shown in month view with current filter settings).

    Option to hide tasks, and some calendars ONLY in month view

    The filters/hidden should only effect month view.

    Ex.
    My month view is unusable and confusing. I don't want it to show tasks, my spouses work calendar.

    PLEASE please please offer a way to login online and see your calendar over the web. That is the only thing that would make this app more amazing!

  17. Switch from week view to month view

    I used the eye icon to switch from month view to week view. When I went back to the eye icon to switch back to month view, the option was not there. Why not???? I pushed buttons and tapped and double tapped all over for several minutes before I got the month view back, and not sure how I managed. Should not way more intuitive. Also don't like the fact that I cannot drag an event to a different day.
