How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. edit mode

    I have an idea, that is add an edit mode on month view, when enter to edit mode, I can dig and drop the event to other date

  3. Add support for TextExpander.

    This would help tremendously in adding redundant notes to appointments. Instead of having to cut and paste from another note app each time, I could just type in the assigned abbreviation and the entire note would enter. I have no idea how invoked this would be for you to add but I contacted support with Smile software and this is the link they provided.

  4. The new colouring looks wrong

    Whilst the functional changes in v4 are nice it now looks very messy. Due to the colour changes... I think it's the fact that the text and border of the event are in colour rather than black. Can we have the option to set a default text colour so we could revert to black if we wanted? Would also like the colours to be less 'washed out'.

  6. Location field in event

    The location field in an event is automatically linked with the map application. It is often used to identify phone bridge number (long string) and there is no way to display it entirely.

    My suggestion is to keep the map icon there but if you press on the info itself it is display entirely. If you press the map icon then the apps is launched.

  7. Create shortcuts.

    Create shortcuts, ie. if you enter 'early' as an event it knows that it's from 7:30 to 18:00 and is in the 'work' calendar.

  9. Create New Task Lists

    Be able to create new Google Task Lists to add tasks under when synced with Google Tasks. That would be very helpful! Also a better Task integration method would help!

  13. Select any photo taken that day.

    Like if there was an event that day there should be an option to maybe add a photo just for the day.... I do not the whole calendar with the random pictures that wasn't even taken that day

  14. Need ability to show an appointment has been canceled without removing the canceled appointment from the calendar.

    Would like to be given the option to either cancel or remove an appointment instead of just removing it. This would help me track what my day looked like in the morning and how it ended up in the afternoon.

  19. Better badge?

    Can there be a badge for incomplete events/to dos only? It's a nice feature, but as things are completed the number should decrease.
