How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. google calendar colors

    Allowing for the ability to use google calendar colors would be nice so Inwould not have to go through and re-customize the calendar colors.

  4. Can you add a post it note feature see below my list hope this works

    I hate the apple standard app so basic, basic has its benefits though
    Loving yours so far i see you have a few changes planned I'd also,like to see

    (We use ipads at work and are going paperless, I use my hard copy desk diary everyday I'm trying to move away form It and use apps but there's not one that quite does it, this is close though .)

    I would like to see ( wish I could build apps)

    1.  Page per day so a large list can be displayed, takes up the whole screen.

  5. Currently time selection is a revolving barrel. It is easy to select the wrong time so a keypad of times e.g 10 for hour .30 for minutes

    And more accurate. My wife has a rival Callander with the block keypad time system she finds it easier to by more accurate and quicker when she is receiving phonecall appointments. She would switch to your Callander in a second if you included this modification as your is so good in all other respects

  6. A more refined organizer look

    Give single days more of an Organizer look, laid out a little like icals day look. It'd be easier to work with it throughout the day if there were areas for notes, check-boxes and everything all in a single, all- visible layout.

    Ps.... Your calendar is still the very best.

  7. Email to Calendar Function

    I would like to have an option to copy an email directly to my calendar. Often there is follow up on my part, or the discussion members decide to conference about the topic. To quick-switch all the discussion to date right into the body of the calendar appointment is very efficient. Also including the email addressees into the appointment attendees fields would be super. At that point its selecting a day and time, click, then everyone has the appointment notice+discussion in their inbox.

  8. Alerts

    Shouldn't be added every time you create an event. Google does that but when you create one on our phone the sync automatically adds the alerts.

    Also when you edit the alterts your color goes back to default and is REALLY annoying.

  10. Allow notes and to-do items to schedule over several days; e.g. I may work on a to-do item over a 3-day period

  11. Add attendees to meeting/event with update capability and in useable format

    Add ability to include people as attendees to an event/meeting who will be emailed at start and after updates if desired. Event needs to be able to be dragged easily into the calendar they are using (outlook/google). Also think in terms of a family calendar where multiple people may need to look at same events without having to reconstruct.

  12. The Arrow Button stopped working. It needs to be fixed again. Otherwise calendar is great.

    U added the Arrow Button back in order to move month to month. It stopped working. Can u please fix that bug? Thank u

  13. National holiday for Japan in August is incorrect.

    Keiro no Hi (respect for the aged) is 9/17 not 8/17 (it appears in my calendar as such- 8/17)

  15. Ability to create 2 or 3 lines of text for event title

    I'd really like to have the option to see more info. at a glance when looking at the month view. If we could "return" in the event title field to create 2 or 3 lines if desired, it would save time having to always click on something to get the information. Thank you!

    I like repeat setting in calendar....
    But I can't repeat Lunar...

  18. Keep alert dates as they are set!

    When alerts are set for the date of the event and two days before, they later self-adjust to 5pm three days before the event and 5pm one day before! Why is this happening?!! This calendar is so unreliable!!!!!!

  19. Ability to create standard calendar entry for birthdays, etc., with custom colours, reminders, etc.

    With one click, on "birthday", you will automatically have the correct colour for a birthday entry, an annual recurrance and the reminders exactly as you want them. All that remains is to enter the name!
