How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. Allow events/entries to be listed on 2 lines.

    When I enter an event/entry, it is shown only on one line and if it's too long it just cuts off. Please allows auto wrap for event to be shown on two lines instead of just cutting off.

  5. It should be saved as a screen savor

    Allow user to click on a date and change the color to without entering any info.

  8. Pressing on the contact's address should bring up mapping app to pinpoint location.

  9. Have a day view so that events running at the same time will display next to each other, rather than below each other

    A day view to enable timetabling within the day. So the times are fixed and events span the relevant times.

  10. Block schedule view

    It would be great to be able to see the day and week so that events and appointments, etc., are shown in blocks so that I can easily see at a glance what time I have free. Maybe while showing the month in portrait, you could view the selected day or week with the block schedule in landscape? So far, this is a great app and your working with people who use it everyday to make it more functional is a huge plus. Thanks! :D

  12. Bad/foolish notification

    Say you create an event, Lunch, with an "at start" alert... The notification reads "Awesome Lunch left"... c'mon can't you simply write an if/else so that if the minutes left = 0 you output 'now' instead of the nonsensical 'left'.. What a foolish flaw in an otherwise worthwhile application

  13. Select a single event in month view

    Currently in month view, I can only select a day with all events. Even "calendar" allows selecting a single event on a day in month view

  16. Nesting Todo lists

    For projects with multiple tasks I would like to have a todo list nested inside another todo list.

    i.e. Holiday (title),
    Paperwork (todo with the following as other todos) -- visa, insurance, tickets, emergency contacts.
    Luggage -- toiletries, clothes, phone charger, etc.

    This would help me break down the tasks into more manageable and easy to complete and organize sequences.

  18. It should have an option to delete on this "Awesome Calender" any event that's has been imported/synced from other Calelnders.

    Deleting any Synced items from other Calenders ie: birthday reminders etc.

  20. I find the scroll wheel difficult to use to enter start/end times. Different u.i. PLEASE.
