How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. National holiday for Japan in August is incorrect.

    Keiro no Hi (respect for the aged) is 9/17 not 8/17 (it appears in my calendar as such- 8/17)

  3. Ability to create 2 or 3 lines of text for event title

    I'd really like to have the option to see more info. at a glance when looking at the month view. If we could "return" in the event title field to create 2 or 3 lines if desired, it would save time having to always click on something to get the information. Thank you!

  4. I want to repeat setting for lunar day.

    I like repeat setting in calendar....
    But I can't repeat Lunar...
    I hope to add lunar set in repeat option..

  6. Keep alert dates as they are set!

    When alerts are set for the date of the event and two days before, they later self-adjust to 5pm three days before the event and 5pm one day before! Why is this happening?!! This calendar is so unreliable!!!!!!

  7. Ability to create standard calendar entry for birthdays, etc., with custom colours, reminders, etc.

    With one click, on "birthday", you will automatically have the correct colour for a birthday entry, an annual recurrance and the reminders exactly as you want them. All that remains is to enter the name!

  10. Allow events/entries to be listed on 2 lines.

    When I enter an event/entry, it is shown only on one line and if it's too long it just cuts off. Please allows auto wrap for event to be shown on two lines instead of just cutting off.

  17. Have a day view so that events running at the same time will display next to each other, rather than below each other

    A day view to enable timetabling within the day. So the times are fixed and events span the relevant times.

  18. Block schedule view

    It would be great to be able to see the day and week so that events and appointments, etc., are shown in blocks so that I can easily see at a glance what time I have free. Maybe while showing the month in portrait, you could view the selected day or week with the block schedule in landscape? So far, this is a great app and your working with people who use it everyday to make it more functional is a huge plus. Thanks! :D

  20. Bad/foolish notification

    Say you create an event, Lunch, with an "at start" alert... The notification reads "Awesome Lunch left"... c'mon can't you simply write an if/else so that if the minutes left = 0 you output 'now' instead of the nonsensical 'left'.. What a foolish flaw in an otherwise worthwhile application
