How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Notes area for each month.

    Sometimes I can only narrow events down to a month. If I hadn't area to put them in, I could get more specific as the month draws near.

  3. "Mark Events or reminders Private" is IMPORTANT

    I use Awesome calendar for work and personal use on a daily bases , and I absolutely love love it! However I find it's crucial to have an option to mark a reminder or event as private so I don't have to jump back to the iPad calendar to mark things private. This is a smart and standard option in all calendars I am not sure why it's not in yours. Some things are personal and everyone would love the option of marking things private. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

  4. NOTES FEATURES : Website access, Video links, Audio files, Format like Bold

    For Notes :
    a) able to index on Notes for each sentence in number sequence 1..2..3 or letters a..b..c..
    b) able to format text like Bold, Italic, underline and color code text

    c) upload or able to add voice recordings within Notes itself.
    d) embed video links that were uploaded to YouTube or any other sites
    e) able to view Notes online via website or URL.

  5. Changing the date, keeping duration

    When I change the date of a previously existing event, I want it to keep the duration of the event the same and not have to manually change the end date as well.

  6. Widen boxes on month view.

    I like this calendar, but one thing I like about couple of others are wider boxes for each day on the month view. Don't need to be too much wider, but wider is needed.

  8. I've lost access to new calendars after the latest update.

    I've lost access to any new calendars after the latest release. Why? Very frustrating.

  9. iOS 10 version for widgetCal widget?

    Hi,
    Do you plan to issue an iOS 10 version for widgetCal widget? The current one looks ugly with the new ios10 widget look.

  10. Notifications

    Notifications - better notification wording on locked screen with more efficient and streamlined notifications with more common wording (such as due "today" or "tomorrow" not sept 19)- currently too wordy/messy looking for a notification to appear on a locked screen, allow customized alert tones for notifications, notifications to disappear off locked screen when event time has passed, ensure alerts from other calendars/google calendars transfer over properly

    An option for a darker color scheme or a night mode would be nice.

  12. Add Weekday repeat option

    Want to be able to add meetings that only occur on weekdays. If I use daily then I have reminders going off on weekend days and weekend view gets cluttered

  13. Use phone call in reminder

    When a Telefon number is written in task/reminder one click upon it should start a phone call (like in events)

  14. Make Saturday box larger

    I do less on Sunday and more on Saturday but the Saturday box is so tiny on the week view. All the boxes for the days should be the same size.

  17. Add those REMINDERS with deadlines to the TIMELINE

    It may not be a good idea to use reminder for the events with deadline, but there are no other options in this app. Therefore, I strongly suggest that those reminders which have an accurate time (not the all-day ones) should be put on the timeline. Now they are showed at the very end and so easy to be ignored.

  19. Sync Event Color To Multiple Devices

    I have multiple devices and use same app. After adding event with color coding in event, other device color does not change. Need to change the color manually for all devices. Please help!
