How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Task repeat from done date

    Create a repeating task interval which repeats the task based from the Done Date. The next due date is based on the previous Completed date.

    Ex. "Replace AC filter every 3 mos."
    Once I have finally done it, the task repeats in 3 mos. - from the date I actually did it.

  3. Faster way to enter new events

    When I tab to enter a new event the cursor is not ready for me to start typing.
    It would be nice to tap to enter a new event title right away

  6. There needs to be a way to delete event pictures if I change my mind.

    There is no delete option for a picture, one must take another picture. There needs to be more user options for this to be a truly AwesomeCalendar. Its good, it could be great, or awesome with a few tweeks.

  8. No alert

    It bothers me when I say no alert on an event and it turns the alert on by itself. I have to go back in and disable it. It shouldn't be allowed to change what I want it to do.

  9. Awesome Share.

    Why limit the number of devices. I have several devices, and been through too many phones, but never thought I had to remove them. This would be great to have across all devices that you use/own (and even owned...no one else would want my access since it's been wiped clean. Plus I lead a boring life anyway).

  10. Add sync button to main page

    Being able to sync calendars from the main page might help cut down on lag time between devices and shared calendars. It would also give piece of mind that the information being viewed is the most current and up to date available.

  12. Maintain appointment end time when changing date on start time

    When moving an appointment from one day to another the end time is automatically changed to one hour after the start time. Recommended implementation: if start time is changed on an existing appointment, maintain the length of time of the appointment.

  13. Option to change weekly calendar to read from left to right instead of top to bottom. I keep looking to the R to find Monday.

  14. Be able to add birthdays manually

    I like the way birthdays appear when imported from contacts but I have a lot of babies birthdays to remember and obviously they don't appear in my contacts!

  16. Save data longer view

    Save data at least 3 months back. It is nice to be able to go back and review appointments and such!

  17. Shrink weekend column sizes in month view

    In month view, many people don't need to see as much detail for the weekends. If weekend columns could be a little smaller, we would be able to see more description on week days. It would be great if the user could choose the column width size for weekends.

  18. web version

    Desktop is faster to capture when I´m at my office. Web version of the calendar would complement the mobile versions.

  19. Create New Task Lists

    Be able to create new Google Task Lists to add tasks under when synced with Google Tasks. That would be very helpful! Also a better Task integration method would help!

  20. Have the current date show on the icon so you do need to open the calendar just to see the date.
