How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Keep the current date circled even when the small weather icons are on

    When you select the weather banner to show the extended forecast on the calendar in the form of the tiny icons the circle for the current day disappears. It only keeps the small circle if you decide to put the extended forecast in the banner.

  2. Needs a uniform navigation button to switch between views. Add a full year screen too.

  6. Highlight text with colours in weekly view

    To be able to highlight an event or note with a 'highlighter marker' (text can be black/colour and background of text will be bright colour) in different colours. So a special event or important note will really stand out in weekly view.

  9. Idea

    Can you please stop the 2x 10minute prior delay alarms that seem to be set on EVERY event when I specify NO alarms. This is annoying.

  10. The app is pretty good, however you need better "stickers" and holiday graphics. Perhaps pull from more emoticon collections. Thanks

    It's hard to read. May be use different type or able to configure the text color.

  12. Issue with moving appointments

    There is a problem when you try to move one particular recurring event to a different time or day. It initially moves the appointment and then simply moves it back to the original date, but duplicates it; as a second recurring appointment ! I'm not sure where to report this issue, but perhaps making it easier to move appointments around in these circumstances would help.

  13. Option to see holiday name in user primary language

    The feature to add multiple holidays calendars is great but I'd like to have some holidays calendars for other countries shown in my language (English).

  15. Add own calendar. Double alarm birthdays

    Double alarm birthdays. For example a week before and on day. Can do this when adding event but not importing birthday through contacts. I want to be able to add my own calendars.

  17. Have more print views.

    Because I have weekly events that multiple people in multiple places and not all even have smart phones. Therefor, they can not share or even check their emails on a daily bases. I have multiple people would like to print each persons weekly schedule.

  18. Task repeat from done date

    Create a repeating task interval which repeats the task based from the Done Date. The next due date is based on the previous Completed date.

    Ex. "Replace AC filter every 3 mos."
    Once I have finally done it, the task repeats in 3 mos. - from the date I actually did it.

  20. Faster way to enter new events

    When I tab to enter a new event the cursor is not ready for me to start typing.
    It would be nice to tap to enter a new event title right away
